Mackay Farms is a family run farm located in south Taylor BC. We raise honey bees and pigs, and produce all items honey, bees wax and pork. All our products are produced on our farm. We sell honey, bees wax, candles, cut & wrapped pork, and specialty pork products.

Our pork is pasture raised - pigs are free to roam in their pasture and socialize with other pigs. This ensures happy, stress-free pigs that yield premium meat with a taste that can’t be bought at the grocery store. Pigs are fed a diet of locally grown peas, barley, oats and wheat. We also recycle spent grain from local breweries which serves as a delightful treat for our breeder pigs. Our pork is safe - it is processed at a government inspected facility.

We raise between 300 and 600 colonies of honey bees that provide us with our annual supply of honey and bees wax. We use some of our bees wax to make pillar, tea light, votive and hand-dipped candles. In the spring, we build starter bees hives called nucs that are sold locally to other bee keepers. We also produce and sell our own queen bees.

We really enjoy participating in the local Fort St. John and Taylor Farmers Markets. During the holiday season, we showcase our products at local Christmas craft sales in Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Taylor. Local markets are always a great opportunity to connect with our community and meet our customers. We enjoy answering your questions and learning your interests in the locally produced items we provide to the Peace Region.

Throughout the year, we provide the local area with various meat box options that include items such as pork chops, ribs, roasts, bacon, ground pork, sausages, pepperoni, and so much more.
